  • How long will it take to receive my 1SELF Care order?
    As our products are hand formulated, and in many cases, made to order, our current order processing and shipping time is 4-14 business days, excluding weekends and national holidays. Furthermore, due to the pandemic, delays may occur and while we are working efficiently and effectively as possible, order processing times may exceed our current timeframe. However, we will do our best to keep you informed and updated. Once your order is ready for shipment and has been received by the postal carrier, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking information. Please be advised that, while we will do our best to assist you, should there be any delays or postal service issues we will not be held responsible for any packages, lost or stolen included, once they have left our facility and are with the postal carrier. Please take this information into consideration, prior to submitting your order.
  • My 1SELF Care order arrived damaged. What next?
    If you receive your package and the contents inside have been damaged, please email us immediately at with your order number, name on the order, as well as, photos/videos attached and we will assist you from there. If you've received your item(s) & run into any issues, you have up to 10 days, from the delivery date to contact us, so that we can resolve the problem as soon as possible. Please note that any inquiries regarding product issues that fall outside of the 10 day time frame will not be valid for a resolution.
  • My shea butter is melted or grainy?
    Shea butter reconstitutes with varying temperatures. Rest assured, the beneficial properties, usability, and therefore, effectiveness is still the same.
  • Can I cancel or change my order?
    We process orders immediately, but in some cases, may be able to change the order before it is shipped if you can contact us in time. Unfortunately, once an order is shipped, we will not be able to process any order changes and/or cancellations.
  • I entered the wrong shipping address, can you fix it?"
    We aren’t able to modify any shipping addresses once an order has been shipped. Please be sure to proofread your address and order(s) before submitting. However, if you are in need of an address change, we highly recommend creating an account with us, prior to order submission. This way you can update and/or add/change shipping addresses on your account. Any order that is returned to our facility, under any circumstance, will require a re-shipping fee. No refund will be given in this case.
  • I am allergic or have sensitivities. What is in 1SELF Care products?
    Please refer to our posted disclaimer regarding skin senstivities and reactions. Overall, while these products are made with natural ingredients, such ingredients like essential oils, may cause skin sensitives in some individuals for which 1SELF Cultural Works (1SELF CW) will not by liable or will be held responsible for. It is encouraged that sensitive-skin individuals perform a "patch test" by applying the product on the skin located on the inside elbow region and leave on for 24 hours before washing off to test for any adverse skin reactions. You can find the ingredients in each product listed in the description section of each product page.
  • Where are 1SELF Care product ingredients sourced?
    Ingredients in 1SELF Care products are primarily sourced from a variety of wholesalers that use sustainably sourced, USDA-approved organic ingredients. All containers are made with FDA approved materials and are reusable.
  • Will I receive a CD with my music purchase?
    Please also refer to our posted disclaimer regarding music/album purchases. Please note that all music purchases on this website are electronic, downloadable mp3 files. You will not receive physical media with your purchase. You will be mailed a download link once your purchase is completed and processed.
  • How are branded merchandise purchases processed?
    1SELF CW merchandise, such as branded clothing and accessories, is ordered and fulfilled by a third-party supplier. Please refer to their posted fulfillment and shipping policies at the time you place your order.
  • What is the price to hire musicians for my event or program?
    Pricing varies depending on the type of requested services, hours, amount of musicians, and other event or program needs. We offer single artist, a trio, quartet, or full band set-ups for a variety of event needs. Services can include, but are not limited to, performances, educational programming, lectures or lecture/demonstration, studio recordings, and composing. Please contact for more information.
  • Do you offer private lessons?
